Good Morning, Prayer Partner!
It’s hard to believe that it’s the beginning of March! Boy did the first two months of ’23 move quickly for me. Thank you for standing with this work! As we begin our 42nd year of ministry, I am so grateful to you. Some of our more current supporters may not know the history of this ministry—as it has a rich legacy! If you don’t know the story, I encourage you to check out ndevangelism.org to learn about our founder, Felix Snipes.
By now, you should have received our 2022 Year In Review. However, if you didn’t, please reach out—I’d love to mail you one. You’ll also find a link to the digital copy at the link.
In January, I made the difficult choice to move out of the professional office building I had called a “second home” for twenty years. So many memories in that place! So, every spare minute from the middle of January to the end of February was spent packing, sorting, selling, and moving! Over the last 30 days of moving out, lots of memories have been flooding back to me. Mostly good. Some difficult. And some sad. All my children grew up going there to help me run the business and ministry. It was there that writing became scripts, sermons, and speeches. There, I grew my dream of Sharing Wonder with people to a reality that carried me to a level I had only imagined. It was there that behind-the-scenes work-the not so fun stuff had to be done. Paperwork, taxes, and figuring out finances to support a family of six. Plus staff. It was here that I went through my father’s sermon notebooks after he passed. It was here that I wrote the majority of my book each morning. It was here that I wrote the toast for Abby & Chazz’s marriage just last year. It was here where life-changing ideas were hatched. Where friends from around the country dropped in for a coffee & conversation. Where My biggest celebrations & most resounding failures were shared with Jesus.
The last 3 years have been full of immense challenges and changes for me & my family. Yet, that place allowed me to steer through the storm with prayer, perseverance, & positivity.
As I sat reflecting the other morning at our new office, I felt immeasurably blessed and deep gratitude for 20 years. Then that morning, I read this from the book of Proverbs (16:3)
“Commit to the Lord whatever you do,
and he will establish your plans.”
God, in his direction, has led me to a new (much smaller) but terrific place for a time. I’ve always thought it would be awesome to be downtown, and as I write to you, I am in a small room, in a 1914 Vintage building in the heart of Mount Dora, just above a cafe. The above verse is a solid reminder to continue “Seeking His Kingdom, FIRST.“ (Matthew 6:33) (emphasis mine.)
Despite the busyness of the move—we managed to do events in Florida and Alabama. In fact, I just returned from Westwood Baptist in Alabaster, Alabama—where we saw children and parents come forward and make decisions for Christ! Also, please be in prayer as in just TWO weeks; we’ll be doing a massive outreach here in my town—four elementary schools, then a weekend at my church, First Baptist. We’ll reach over 3,000 kids and more than 1,000 parents that week!
Steve continues to build and work through our FaithKidz project…with exciting things on the horizon!
Thank you, dear friend, for your continued prayer and support of this work!
Sharing His Wonder,

Scott’s book, Sharing Wonder, came out last fall. It’s a conversational collection of stories from Scott Humston and his journey of Faith, Hope & Love. It will inspire you!
