Laughter Isn’t the End—It’s the Beginning

It’s an amazing thing: a room full of laughter in Tennessee… can lead to clean water in Haiti. A night of wonder in a Florida church… can inspire someone into a deeper relationship with Christ.

Whether it’s Laugh All Night or An Evening of Comedy & Wonder—a 90-minute blend of humor, illusion, and Gospel message—these events aren’t just entertainment. They’re invitations: laughter opens the door, and the message invites hearts into something eternal.

Recently, after one of these events, a guest shared, “I had no idea I could laugh this much and still make an eternal difference.” He left knowing he helped fund a uniform, a backpack, or a clean source of water for a child through New Missions—true laughter with real-world impact.

Devotional Thought

It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. —Galatians 5:1

When Paul wrote these words to the Galatians, he was pleading with them not to fall back into a life of spiritual performance. They had been set free from the exhausting weight of rule-keeping religion—and he didn’t want them to trade the joy of grace for the anxiety of earning God’s favor.

True freedom, Paul insists, isn’t the absence of boundaries. It’s the absence of fear. It’s the full-hearted confidence that because of Christ, we are already loved, already accepted, already home.

C.S. Lewis might describe this kind of freedom not as an escape from duty, but as the return to the truest kind of duty: joyfully doing what we were made to do. In the Kingdom of God, obedience is not drudgery—it is delight. And laughter? That’s not a distraction—it’s a taste of Eden restored.

We weren’t set free to sit idle—we were set free to run toward beauty. To create. To serve. To give. To lift others. To join a divine conspiracy of joy in a weary world.

That’s why this ministry doesn’t stop at the punchline. And sometimes, that laughter unlocks generosity… which helps a child across the world walk into school with a uniform and a future.
