A Resolution that Truly Transforms.

“January” actually comes from the Roman mythological figure, Janus, who is pictured as having two faces; one looking forward and another back. January is the time to evaluate the past year and plan for the coming year. Most of us sincerely do this with a new determination to make significant improvements in ourselves, our relationships and our circumstances. By the middle of January, most of those New Year’s resolutions have already been broken and forgotten.

#sharewonder

Have you ever had an idea and you said, “yes, I should do that!” But you never acted on it? Or maybe an inspiring thought to share—but you didn’t? Me, too. As a professional speaker, evangelist, and illusionist (now for more than a quarter of a century!), I’ve just finished an incredible year. One that was incredibly challenging and, yet, incredibly blessed. Thinking back on 2016 reminds me of the opening line from Dicken’s A

Do you see what I see?

Do you see what I see? Almost everyone, Christians, non-Christians, scientists and astronomers have been captivated by the unique way the Star of Bethlehem led the Magi to Jesus. Most have tried to determine a date about the time of His birth, if an unusual convergence of several stars might have produced what appeared to be one big special star. Others have thought that perhaps this was some special comet or other natural phenomena that

David C. Biggers

David C. Biggers was my father-in-law.  Take a moment and let me introduce you. David was quite the character, and, I believe, everything anyone would want in a father and grandfather; loyal, playful; joyful; generous; fun and, at times, downright hysterical. One of our “regular” activities with David was eating out when we would make the hour and forty-five-minute drive up to San Mateo, Florida or him, down here to Mount Dora.  David loved to

Giving Thanks!

We have just been through the HALLOWEEN season and are coming to THANKSGIVING. Halloween, without question, has its origins in pagan worship and rituals. Today it has no more significance in the minds of most people than to be an excuse to “party” … or an opportunity to put on a mask and fantasize becoming someone different from who you are. However many are involved in witchcraft or Satanic worship who continue to use this

6 Principles of Godly Leadership

Recently, I heard a simple, yet profound, sermon from my Interim Pastor, Dr. Jerry Appleby.  I asked his permission to share it with you; The Country Gazette in Franklin, Massachusetts had this listing in its classified section: “Unknown item for sale. We know it’s valuable; we don’t know what it is. If you can identify it, we’ll sell it for $250.” That’s interesting. They had no idea what it was—but knew somehow it had value!

Results from The Rocky Mountain Initiative

For the Rocky Mountain District, Church of the Nazarene, Fall 2016 initiative, they wished to reach local schools— and partner with local churches for community impact. So, they reached out to New Dimensions Evangelism. The vision was to create a positive impact on schools–and bring in the lost to local churches. And to inspire local pastors with “what could be.” Two churches hosted the weekend outreach. Each of these churches averages about 120 in Sunday

The Power of One Vote—False but True!

About this time every four years we are inundated with admonitions to vote because one vote defeated so many important events. This is true … but, most of the data given to prove this is FALSE. This includes the famous story referring to one vote and Oliver Cromwell, Charles I of England, and America almost speaking German instead of English. These statements have often been repeated by newspaper columnists, bloggers or Ministers in an impassioned
